So, up nice and early with everybody reporting a good sleep, then off to Macca’s for a small breakfast (I know, but it is a rare event) then drop off the car and out to the airport. Then the long boring flight to KL. It was a new experience for the kiddies, going through customs and immigration. I took in a couple of movies, All is Lost with R Redford, a good time filler and the remake of Carrie, which seemed remarkably similar to the original. Then 3 hours of KL hell and finally 2 more hours to Saigon.
Sue and Bino were still travelling back from celebrating Tet so they arranged for Jen to collect us. There is nothing better than seeing your name on a sign at an airport.
Jen settled us into the homestay where we got beer, vodka, cash, fags and a very delicious meal.
The Responsible Adult and I waited up for Sue and Bino and it was lovely to see them. Chatted to about 3am our time then crashed.
